Why the name “Giving Tree”?

Reason #1: Psalm 1 relates a righteous man to a prospering tree planted by streams of water. Rooted. Bearing fruit. It is my “life-verse”, and my life goal- to be rooted in Christ. And Christ is the foundation of my business. This “talent”, “gift”, “passion” (or whatever you want to call it) of photography is so evidently from God, and I want every piece of it to reflect Him. All glory to Him. It is from Him and for Him. Reason #2: I have a fascination with trees. The varieties, the heights, the colors, the flowers, the leaves- they’re all magnificent in their own way. Reason #3: The children’s book, “The Giving Tree” has been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember.
