Selfies have never sat well with me. Humility doesn’t come in the form of flaunting yourself. Artistic self-portraits are different, but still make me a tad uneasy. I wan’t to stay far away from self-absorbed, selfish, and the whole “love yourself” campaign. I firmly believe that to understand your worth in Christ is far more life-giving & confidence-giving that learning how to love yourself. Yet when the I was hit with this surging desire to create something, I was my only subject. Self-doubt & fear of man have stopped me from posting this series on more than one occasion, but here I am, bucking up & going for it.
